A conference about tasteful theft.
 
My design conference is about influence, inspiration and appropriation in contemporary art and design.
 
I wanted to create a visually jarring aesthetic with busy, noisy collage images. Collages epitomize appropriation, as they are made from combining existing material to make something new.

For the website all I wanted was for it not to be a parallax scrolling site as I feel like these are a generic and overused solution to making a visually pleasing easy to navigate site.  
 
All the content of the site
is divided up into four primary navigation corners with drop down sub menus that make it possible to directly access any page from any page without a home bar. The sections make it possible to fit all content on screen without any scrolling.
